MI 6 Wishlist: Since the inception, Xiaomi has done wonders with their smartphones and tablets. The Chinese tech giant is currently the world’s 4th largest smartphone making company and they have all the rights to get these kinds of accolades. The current flagship device of the company, Xiaomi Mi 5 has gained massive popularity among the fans since it was launched in February, 2016 and now the fans are eagerly waiting for the next iteration of this coveted handset, the Xiaomi Mi 6 to be unveiled. The internet is currently flooding with the Mi 6 news and rumors, while we have already discussed the probable specs, release date and features of the upcoming smartphone, in this tutorial we have talked about the Xiaomi Mi 6 wishlist. So check it out what the fans as well as the pundits want from this much anticipated technological wonder device.
Xiaomi MI 6 Wishlist Feature Compilation
Bigger and Better Display
The Xiaomi Mi 5 flaunts a 5.15-inch IPS LCD capacitive touch-screen display with the 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution and 428 ppi pixel density. Well, this is not at all unimpressive. But when you compare with the flagship devices of the other companies, like Samsung Galaxy S7, you will understand the difference. So we hope that the Xiaomi Mi 6 would come with a bigger display size, preferably 5.7-inch, a Super AMOLED capacitive touch-screen and 4K display.
Most of the premium handsets of this era are IP67 or IP68 certified. That means these smartphones are dust proof and water resistant for more than 1.5 meter and 30 minutes. If Xiaomi wants to compete with the top notch smartphone making companies, they must go through this certification test. Moreover the Mi 5 is protected with the Corning Gorilla Glass 4, where as the latest version Corning Gorilla Glass 5 has already been released. So we are keeping our fingers crossed that the Xioami Mi 6 will be IP 68 certified and will be protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
As the mobile payments solution is the latest trend, and both Apple and Samsung have got massive success with their respective payment system Apple Pay and Samsung Pay, it is time that Xiaomi would also include this feature in their smartphones. The Chinese tech conglomerate has already launched Mi Pay in China back in September this year with the collaboration of China UnionPay. So we can expect that the Mi 6 will come with the Mi Pay integration.
The Xiaomi Mi 5 already comes with the fingerprint sensor. But the fingerprint sensor is becoming primitive with each passing day and Retina Sensor is taking its place. So we hope the Chinese company will be the pathfinder to incorporate this cutting edge technology into a handset successfully and the Mi 6 will come with a retina eye scanner.
The Xiaomi Mi 5 sports a 16-megapixel primary camera and we have absolutely zero complain in this aspect. But the secondary camera only comes with a 4-megapixel snapper, which is, we feel, a bit shallow. So we hope the makers will look into this matter and will upgrade the front camera to at least 7-megapixel. Moreover, it would be an added bonus if Xiaomi includes a dual-LED flash in the front side of the Mi 6 too. It will make the device more convenient for clicking selfies and making video calls.
